Arts & Culture Activist

Isnaeni Achdiat is an activist in art, culture, and knowledge. In the field of art, he not only creates songs, but also conveys his big thematic ideas. For example, the theme of humanism in the song Take To The Sky at the Tokyo Olympics, or the theme of nationalism in the works Patriotku and Sayap Wings Garuda. Another work is The Beauty That We Are which was performed at the ASEAN Day (November 7, 2022) and became the only song played at the ASEAN Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020. He founded the ISN Orchestra which carries a mission to strengthen nationalism through Indonesian musical works.

In addition to creating works themed on humanism and nationalism in the field of art, Isnaeni also pays attention to culture, especially in terms of learning culture. Closely related to his research activities as a doctoral student, Isnaeni took the research variable of Organizational Learning Culture, which is an important concept in developing organizations that can certainly be applied in a broader context (macro) in the education sector in Indonesia.

Moreover, Isnaeni sees culture as having two roles, namely wealth and national resilience of a society. For that reason, his attention grew and he started efforts to facilitate a special program to introduce culture from the main tribes in Indonesia, Java, and Sunda, especially in terms of language and community behavior.
